As an Account Development Manager at Givaudan, you will help support the French business by providing data analysis and managing the business support team. You will work with the French Leadership team, including the Commercial, Technical, and Marketing Directors. Additionally, you will be the Western Europe Power user for multiple commercial systems, contributing to the success of Givaudan's operations.

You will be based in Argenteuil, France and you will report to the Commercial Head Western Europe.

 

You will:

Data Analysis:

  • Perform data analysis to support business decisions and strategies.
  • Monitor sales performance and contribute to the annual sales budget.
  • Manage expenses budget and capital expenditures.
  • Track internal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as PNWR, Inflow, Pipeline cleaning, Sales vs Budget, and Margin.
  • Build internal presentations, including monthly reports and business reviews.
  • Participate in the follow-up of the growth story and the French strategy.
  • Conduct commercial controlling activities, including baseline exercises.

 

Business Support Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the business support team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Establish ways of working that align with Givaudan's strategy and values.

 

Co-leadership for Internal Workshops/Meetings:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in monthly segment meetings.
  • Participate in follow-up project meetings (MW, ECO, MP, and others).
  • Contribute to quarterly French Touch meetings.
  • Participate in business review meetings with the Euro Head of Sales.
  • Embrace the mindset of delivering the best shows.
  • Coordinate events such as DRACI, CFIA, and Givaudan day.

 

Western Europe Power User Activities:

  • Use and provide expertise in commercial systems such as Atlas, Quote, and Aurora.
  • Serve as a champion trainer for Atlas France, collaborating with the FCA counterpart, Daniele Menanteau.
  • Use Compass for project and sales performance tracking.
  • Manage master data through CCM/CPM (Master data management).

 

About You:

  • University degree or equivalent academic working and thinking level.
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial work experience, including account administration, marketing assistant, or customer relationship management in the food or related industry.
  • Technical Competencies:
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical planning, sales budgeting, and forecasting skills to support CSD/LT and analyze performance.
  • Proficiency in working with IT systems, tools, and databases.
  • Understanding of internal processes with CRM, SAP, and controlling activities.
  • Ability to act as a Key User for internal commercial tools, Compass BOA, and ensure up-to-date information.
  • Strong reporting and communication skills.
  • Proficient in building presentations and written communications.
  • Diplomacy skills to navigate various stakeholders and maintain effective relationships.
