Reporting to Supply Chain Manager

Job Dimensions
  • Customer-services covering around 400 customers in all Asia
  • Coordinating marketing information & cross-functional operations
  • Working with sales and supply chain team for product supplies mainly from China, South East Asia other sources -- Plants from other continents.
Mission Details

Back Office Manager ( 4 people in Shanghai / 5 other SEA assistants ( dot line))

  - Follow Sales assistant trainings

  - Provide Sales assistant update or release on SAP or other subjects (including Malaysia, Japan, Korea..)

  - Set-up CS back-up system, provide back-up as needed for staff

  - Ensure the customers claims are reported  in coordination with Supply Chain

  - Organize yearly customer satisfaction survey, analyse and drive for improvement

  - Propose any idea to improve the daily operations

Sales Support-Key customer

- Customer related sales support & services and follow up

- Customer Service rendered for distributors / customers within the defined sales territory.

Sales & Supply Administration

-  Order placement

-  Demand forecasts (SAP – Picaso)

-  Reporting preparation

-  Customer Credit lines and payment management

-  Back up for absent colleagues

-  Shipment follow up & shipping documentations coordination.

-  Quality complaints follow up.

Reporting  Support          

-  Participate in ensuring smooth flow of market information from the market and sales teams towards the BU

-  Participate in reporting.

Profile Required
  • Integral part of the BU’s regional sales team’s operational section providing commercial service support within a market that offers strong growth perspective.
  • College and above degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience related to customer service or sales assistant, at least 2 years’ people management experience for external candidates
  • Fluent English both in written and spoken, good communication skills
  • Operational experience and knowledge, if possible, on chemical sector’s related aspects: Products & packaging, Supply chain, Operational processes (Reports, forecasts, invoicing, customer credit & collections) & systems (SAP)
  • Intrinsic qualities: Good team worker with ability to communicate effectively within a multi-cultural context. Result-driven with ability to take appropriate initiative, identify, resolve problems & ensure the accuracy and productivity of work done under pressure.
