Sous la responsabilité du Chief Data Officier, le Data Scientist aura pour mission principale de conceptualiser, planifier et mettre en œuvre la fonction d’Intelligence Artificielle (IA) pour des cas d’usages confiés au pôle Data & AI d’ArianeGroup. Il devra collaborer avec les diverses expertises internes et externes autour des initiatives IA, afin de créer de la valeur ajoutée et d’accroître l’efficience opérationnelle et stratégique dans tous les secteurs d’activités d’ArianeGroup. Le candidat retenu assurera un rôle de conseil auprès des différents métiers de l’entreprise concernant l’exploitation optimale des technologies d’IA et de traitement massif de données.

Description
Under the responsibility of the Chief Data Officer, the Lead AI & Data Scientist’s main mission will be to conceptualize, plan and implement the Artificial Intelligence (AI) function for all use cases entrusted to the Data & AI division of ArianeGroup. He will need to collaborate with the various internal and external expertise around AI initiatives, in order to create benefit and increase operational and strategic efficiency in all ArianeGroup business lines. The successful candidate will also act as an advisor to the various business lines of the company regarding the optimal exploitation of AI technologies and massive data processing.
Responsibilities
Develop and deploy AI and Data Analytics strategy for use cases:
Process AI application and data analysis cases in each functional area;
Regularly monitor and evaluate the impact and performance of solutions implemented within the ArianeGroup information system.
Select and adapt relevant AI models for each identified use case:
Select the best algorithms according to the specific needs of each application;
Participer au cycle de développement pour implémenter les algorithmes d’IA ;
Active personal participation of the development life cycle ;
Adapt and evolve these models according to the constraints specific to the different business units;
Supervise their release into production and guarantee their scalability;
Coordinate their interactions with other software systems or hardware components.
Design solutions based on generative AI, building applications using associated Generative AI/LLM and RAG architectures;
Interact with an internal and external community of AI experts and data analytics:
Foster knowledge sharing and drive innovation through collaborative workshops, hackathons, workshops and thematic seminars;
Build and maintain a strong network of relations with the main French and European internal and industrial actors in the field of AI;
Actively contribute to the preparation of technical offers for AI and Data Science projects:
Provide expert support in the identification and qualification of customer needs by proposing innovative solutions based on the state of the art in AI, and integrating into the architecture of the ArianeGroup information system;
Estimate the costs and expenses associated with these projects;
Represent the company at professional events, conferences and symposia dedicated to AI, highlighting the work done and increasing ArianeGroup visibility and awareness in this area.
Required Skills
PhD or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics or other related discipline;
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a consultant or senior engineer in AI and data science;
Basic concepts and tools commonly used in machine learning / deep learning, computer vision, automatic natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI;
Good knowledge of popular open source frameworks such as TensorFlow, LangChain, Vanna.ai, Dataiku, and LLM models;
Fluent English imperative.
